Technician

We are looking for a Technician. You will be able to see, travel, and work outdoors year-round. Lodging is provided on behalf of the company, and you will receive per diem.

Your Role:

  • Understand environmental, health & safety regulations, and perform work in a compliant manner.
  • Travel for extended periods (95% of the season away from home). This includes short and long-term hotel stays and traveling between states.
  • Walk long distances, up and down slopes (1:1, 2:1, and 3:1) depending on the project, and outdoor terrain.
  • Place geosynthetic and insulating material on the ground using clamps to pull and place the rolls of material.
  • Seal the borders of insulating material by heat-producing machines and/or sewing.
  • Ability to help maneuver, cut, and fuse HDPE liner.
  • Lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a non-consistent basis.
  • Work in extreme (hot and cold) weather conditions safely including on very odorous project sites.
  • Clean up work areas, clean and fuel vehicles, and equipment as necessary.
  • Operate general site vehicles and equipment, such as pickup trucks, and smaller equipment.
  • Available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays if necessary.
  • Ability to communicate with peers professionally.
  • Assist site supervisors with the materials and equipment needs and help to collect supplies for projects.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience is a plus but not required.
  • A team player with the ability and willingness to pitch in as needed in areas outside core responsibilities and expertise.
  • Candidate may be located in any project site in the lower 48 States in which we conduct business –typically within 500 miles of our project sites and the ability to travel for up to 9 months at a time and stay in hotels rooming with a coworker.
  • Hourly pay rate depends on experience
